Sports For Kids / Behaviour Mentoring

“Building a steady foundation for young people. Setting them up for real life situations”

Our Mentoring Through Sports program (MTS) is our most common program to date. Mixing both mentoring and Sports into one session. During the programme we cover a number topics such as: friendships, Communication, respect, Trust, Honesty, family and identity.

Each theme will be covered over 1 hour, 30mins classroom group discussion, and then on the sports arena to complete the session keeping in line with the topic of the day.

On the last session all children will receive a certificate for being a part of the program, and one lucky young person will receive a Sports 4 Kids goodie bag.

The aim of this program is to;

  • Build positive relationships
  • Help raise confidence & self-esteem Have a sense of who they are
  • Build a solid foundation
  • Respect each other and themselves Have fun with learning

Similar to our MTS program, we cover a number of topics that can be seen as taboo areas. This allows a young person to gain a greater understanding of their surroundings and who they are instead of remaining naive and ignorant to them, which improves maturity and attitudes towards others.Working with young people aged 11-18, the goal is to help them find their feet in who they are, not who people say they are.

By establishing their short and long term goals we start putting plans in place that are realistic and achievable, then tackle themes such as trust, social media, relationships, respect, communication, bullying and honesty.
